The coastal radio station operator DP07 broadcasts the marine weather report for the Mediterranean in German via Monaco Radio on short wave

According to Reiner Dietzel, founder of the private coastal radio station, the transmission has been agreed until the end of this season.

Daily "German weather" in the western Mediterranean and the Adriatic Sea

DP07 Seefunk now broadcasts the marine weather report for the western Mediterranean and the Adriatic every day at around 9.40 a.m. local time or 7.40 UTC on the frequencies of Monaco Radio on 4363 kHz and 8728 kHz.

The DWD, the weather reports of Méteo France and Athens Marine Meteorological Centre are used as sources.

Broadcasting takes place simultaneously on both frequencies. The German-language marine weather report follows that of Monaco Radio in French and English.

"We would be delighted if sailors followed the weather reports and submitted their QSL reports via e-mail to info@dp07.com. Every QSL report will be rewarded with a QSL Confirmation Card," says Dietzel.
